The June 24 grease fire that destroyed the North Portland noodle manufacturer Shin Shin Foods could spell changes to Portland Public Schools’ lunch menus this fall.
Shin Shin Foods produced the yakisoba noodles that were the key ingredient in the school district’s award-winning lunch special developed by Portland-based Umi Organic.
