It may not be an In-N-Out in the neighborhood, but to some Pacific Northwesterners, this news is even better: Burgerville is opening its first new restaurant in eight years in Wilsonville next month.

And that’s not all. The Vancouver-based burger chain also plans to open new locations in Salem and Keizer this fall.

“Since I joined Burgerville two years ago, the goal has been to bring our delicious burgers, shakes and fries to more Pacific Northwest communities,” Burgerville CEO Ed Casey said in a statement. “We’re excited to make Wilsonville a reality, with Salem and Keizer close behind, and several more locations on the horizon.”

A spokesperson for Burgerville said Salem and Keizer are the only two new locations confirmed at this time but in a press release earlier this year, the company said it has plans to add more new locations “north and east of its store in Centralia, Washington.”

The expansion follows a partnership announced earlier this year with a group of new investors.

The company declined to share specifics about the new ownership group, but did say it is composed mostly of local investors, including the previous owners and founders of the chain, the Mears family, CEO Casey, who remains chief executive, and former Dutch Bros CEO Joth Ricci, who has become executive chairman.

“No single person or entity has a big, controlling interest,” Casey said of the new ownership group at the time.

The Wilsonville location will be Burgerville’s 38th across Oregon and Washington.
