CityTeam to open housing, job development center in Portland’s Old Town

The anti-homelessness nonprofit CityTeam Portland announced Tuesday it will transform a building in Old Town Chinatown into a center for housing, job development and its new headquarters.

Lance Orton, CityTeam Portland’s executive director, said the building will house more than 100 in dormitory-style rooms, adding to 54 beds at its existing center on Portland’s east side. The newly renovated building could open as soon as next summer.
