The Oregon Ducks have added more size on the offensive line to their 2025 recruiting class.
Four-star interior offensive lineman Alai Kalaniuvalu announced his commitment to the Ducks on Wednesday. Kalaniuvalu picked Oregon over Michigan, Utah and USC.
Kalaniuvalu, originally from Provo, Utah, but hailing from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, is listed at 6-foot-4, 305 pounds. He is the No. 9 interior offensive lineman and No. 176 overall player in the country, according to 247Sports. He projects as a center at the collegiate level, according to 247 national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins, who wrote that Kalaniuvalu reminds him of former Oregon center Jackson Powers-Johnson.
Oregon is up to 16 players in its 2025 class with Kalaniuvalu’s commitment. He joins five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore (Texas); four-star tight end Da’Saahn Brame (Kansas); four-star wide receivers Dallas Wilson (Texas), Cooper Perry (Arizona) and Isaiah Mozee (Missouri); four-star running backs Dierre Hill (Illinois) and Jordon Davison (California); four-star quarterback Akili Smith Jr. (California); four-star interior offensive lineman Ziyare Addison (Florida); four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt (California); four-star edge rusher Matthew Johnson (California); four-star cornerbacks Brandon Finney (Maryland) and Dorian Brew (Texas); three-star offensive tackle Demetri Manning (Washington); and three-star defensive tackle Josiah Sharma (California).
