A man has died after a shooting in Portland’s Old Town Chinatown neighborhood Friday night.

Officers patrolling the area heard shots fired from the area of Northwest 3rd Avenue and Everett Street at 11:48 p.m. They found the victim and provided first aid until an EMS crew arrived.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he died two hours later.

There were no suspects in the area when police arrived, and homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
