The man who police say was pepper-sprayed by Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler after aggressively confronting him is a partner at a local law firm and an heir to Alpenrose Dairy.
Cary Randall Cadonau, 48, is the person authorities believe accosted the mayor with a cell phone camera as he left a Southwest Portland pub Sunday night, according to an updated police report released Tuesday.
