For all its ambition over the years in showcasing the state’s history, the Oregon Historical Society has rarely focused squarely on the place where it resides: Portland.
That changes Friday morning when a ribbon is cut to open a new permanent installation that zeroes in on the “unique and complex history of Portland.”
